ABOUT LARISSA
I create experiences that bring people back to the body, the senses and each other.
I’m Larissa Cecilia Kroone—a sound practitioner, yoga teacher, event designer and founder of NULA and Waves of Sisterhood.
My life and work move between the Netherlands and Morocco, between quiet creation and social experience, and between the structure of event design and the more intuitive language of sound, nature and the senses.

MY PATH
I never wanted to fit all of my work into one box.
I have always been drawn to different ways of creating experiences: producing events, bringing people together, travelling, working with sound, teaching yoga, making things by hand and exploring how environments affect the way people feel.
For a long time, these interests felt separate. NULA and Waves of Sisterhood became ways to give them structure without forcing them to become the same thing.
NULA holds my quieter and more sensory work: immersive sound, intentional rest, sensory workshops and slow-made objects. Waves of Sisterhood holds movement, travel, creativity, Morocco and the experience of women discovering something together.

HOW I WORK
Thoughtful structure. Sensory depth. Space for real experience.
I Listen First
Every group, person and place is different. I begin by understanding what the experience needs rather than forcing one standard format onto every setting.
I Design the Whole Experience
My background in event management means I think beyond the central activity: arrival, atmosphere, pacing, materials, transitions and how people leave the space.
I Leave Room for What Cannot Be Planned
A strong structure creates enough safety and clarity for real presence, connection and unexpected moments to emerge.

WHAT MATTERS TO ME
I do not want to create more noise.
I am not interested in empty wellness promises, experiences that look beautiful but feel hollow or products created only because the market expects something new.
I want to create work that has a reason to exist: experiences people can actually feel, objects they genuinely use and spaces in which they do not need to perform.
My approach is shaped by curiosity, care, intuition, traditional practices, professional preparation and a willingness to keep learning. I try to speak clearly about what my work may support without claiming to heal, fix or transform everyone in the same way.
